Guntur Kaaram; production house begin their promotions with the first song called ‘Dum Masala’ musicy by thaman. Directed by Trivikram, Stars Mahesh Babu, Sree Leela, Meenakshi Chaudhary produced by haarika and hassine creations.
On 5th November Dum Masala promo, was out but it’s just an ‘OK OK feeling’ not up to the mark, today a full lyrical video was released, and as usual thaman didn’t give his best one more average routine song from his work. Not a remarkable/memorable song for such a big star, but thaman didn’t repeat the same mistake that was made in previous work throughout the year. Lyrics are clear, music is clear and listenable not too loud overlapping and dominating the lyrics; like in his previous works.
Is there anything we need to talk about or appreciate regarding Dum Masala, it’s the editing work that’s the best one I’ve seen till now in TFI. There are lots of best shots, Mahesh Babu looks fantastic in those frames from the lyrical video; for example take a look at 11sec, 17sec, 29sec, etc… loved the lyrical video editing work; the way they used a lot of things that are appt for the title and the movie.
Specially, regarding the raw and rustic theme with the perfect color grading; that’s the special attraction of this work, even small shots/things like (mirchi, Mahesh babu smoking, soda bottle, chicken, Rokali etc..) it kind of being a silly one. But it just look’s cool and loved it a lot, the amount of work impressed me a lot; in the editing department not even a bit of satisfaction is there in the music department.
Let’s see if the 2nd song could really create a blast ?
